'Seconds' is a visual navigation through the rapidly changing landscape of the NDSM wharf and Amsterdam-Noord. The title refers to the rapid changes that are taking place in the area of Noord. Aside from this, mere Seconds is how long it takes to make these photos, in the moments before the sun goes down and the hours after this. Through use of light and shadow, abstraction and suggestion, time seems to condense.
