One of the few black and white film images Tom shot while exploring Italy for his ever evolving L’estate collection. He specifically chose to use black and white because it made the layering in depth more noticeable. There are plenty of smaller details in the photo that the viewer only picks up on when viewing the work for longer. This level of detail, in combination with the simple black and white tones creates a timeless effect that Tom himself greatly enjoys.
